3 AM

When the smell of this whole weekend lingers on your body, you

You think of what you’ll say

And when you get there they all look like they’re expecting someone else

And then it all just fades away

Then its 3 or 4 am

And you’ve got a long walk home

And you just may stop halfway

And end up at her door

She’s been waiting there

She’s been standing still

All alone

But this is the last time

She’ll wait up until

The break of dawn

She swears this is the last time

She’ll wait up until

The break of dawn
